Happy Halloween!

Ladybug and Butterfly

This Halloween we went with Aunt Tes, Uncle James and PJ trick-or-treating. H1 was a tulip, H2 was a bee and I was Mother Nature. They were my little Flora and Fawna! Aunt Tes dressed up as the queen of the jungle and PJ was her little monkey. They were all too precious for words.

The girls has an absolute blast trick-or-treating. Once we got past the first. two houses Ladybug knew exactly what to do and was all over it. We would carry them to the walkway, put them down and let them run up to the porch. Most everyone was sitting on their front porches which was nice. Ladybug would run up and stick out her hand but Butterfly was a little more timid. She would stand behind Ladybug and wait to see what happened and then if Ladybug got a piece of candy she would walk up closer and put her hand out. There were a few times that Ladybug got a little excited and took off without Butterfly. When that happened she would start fake crying and wouldn't walk up. It melted my heart to see how much fun they were having and how quickly they understood the concept. I can't wait for next year!!!
