Big Girl Breakfast

This morning Poppy made the girls French toast for breakfast. Instead of bringing it downstairs we went upstairs. They had their first 'real' meal sitting like big girls at the table! They didn't make a mess and I was very proud.

Aunt Iris' Shoes

Today we went to visit Aunt Iris after our tea party. She was showing us her new shoes and we just couldn't resist seeing if they would fit us!

To celebrate Mother's Day our church hosted a Mother/Daughter tea party. It was very fun and we had a very nice time. I was glad to be able to spend the time with both my Mother and my daughters.

Playdate At Kelly's

We had a great day with our friends today! There was a playdate at my friend Kelly and her two boys house. Two other ladies whom I went to high school brought their kids along too. It had been forever since I'd seen Samantha and her two kiddos and it was great to get to know Danyell, her kids and the little one she watches.

Everyone had a blast! Both girls actually got into the kiddie pool this time and had fun splashing with Danyell's daughter . Kelly has a slide for her sons that we drug over to the pool. The bigger kids took turns sliding down and sliding through the pool. Ladybug, being the daredevil she is, went down quite a number of times too. She thought it was hilarious!

After they got done playing in the water everyone got an ice pop. This was the girls first one and they loved them. Butterfly got the hang of how to slide it up perfectly and she devoured it. It was truly a perfect summer day and we can't wait to do it again soon.
