33 Weeks Pregnant

I wanted to let you guys know that the girls may be coming sooner than later. I started having contractions and am dilated about 1 centimeter. I found out at my non-stress test. I was at the Woman's Pavilion triage room for about 5 hours being monitored. The girls are okay and the on-call doctor sent me home because I wasn't "in labor". I am going to see Dr. Mc tomorrow. I'll let you know what she says.

32 Weeks Pregnant

I had my non-stress test at the Woman's Pavilion triage center (which I now have to do each week) and doctors appointment with my OB (which I get to do each week too) today. It took them nearly 2 hours to get the girls to calm down and stop moving long enough to get a good idea of their heartbeats. My crazy girls were gettin' it!

My regular OB Dr. Mc was there in triage about to deliver a lady and didn't make our appointment time so I met with the other doctor in the provider again. She's really cool, is very straight forward and direct with her answers which I appreciate. Just gimme the full run-down and don't sugar coat it. Since my regular doctor couldn't make it (the poor women she was about to deliver looked like she was terrified!) we didn't get to discuss whether we're gonna schedule the c-section or just wait to do it when I go into labor. I'll see her on Tuesday and I'll hear what she thinks. Dr. R said that when she schedules sections for twins she usually does them at about 37 weeks. We shall see.

Yet Another 31 Week Update

My cousin Stephanie at Heart of A Hartman and I got to South Florida safe and sound. The traffic wasn't bad at all and we got down here in good time. It was a nice drive and we got a lot of good girl talk in.

The shower was today and it was absolutely beautiful! The little girls had SO much fun playing dress up with the hats they had for everyone to wear. Mine matched my outfit perfectly. I'll post pictures as soon as I can; which will probably be when we get back on Tuesday.

Another 31 Week Update

I'll be leaving today for about 5 days to go visit my family down south. This will be my last visit as a "non-Mom". ::hehe:: My cousin Stephanie's baby shower is on Sunday and I am excited to go. It's going to be at the Carriage Light Tea Room. It's such a beautiful place! I got a really cute outfit to wear the other day too. It's a light pink skirt and a top that has a bunch of different color pinks and reds. It's also a bit "netty" so it's cool for the hot weather. I am excited to go see my family but I don't want to leave Ryan for so long. I hate not being around him. I know nothing will happen; but I am a bit paranoid about going into labor down there and him not being there with me. But, like I said....I know that won't happen!

I have problems finding maternity clothes. I need large or x-larges to cover my belly but a lot of times those sizes are too big for my chest and arms. And don't get me started on maternity pants. That's what I get for just growing in the belly and really no where else. Even though I've gained a little over 30lbs so far it really hasn't gone all over...it's just baby. I was able to find one pair of pants yesterday (capris) and only 1 shirt that covered the belly. *sigh* It was quite the experience...I hate having to go clothes shopping especially when it gets so frustrating.

31 Weeks Pregnant

So, I went to my regular OB appointment and my regular doc wasn't there so I saw another doctor in the practice and she was really nice. But unfortunately, sure enough, H1 is still breech. So it's looking better and better that I'll be having a c-section. I am not to fond of the idea but like I say "anything to make sure the girls are okay!"

Starting next week I have to go to my regular OB appointment once a week and go for a non-stress test also once a week an hour before the appointment. I'm going to be getting to know the people at the hospital really well!

I got my car seats that my cousin Stephanie and Grandmother got me for the baby shower. They are too cute and it just makes me feel that much more anxious about the girls being here so soon.

30 Weeks Pregnant

Went to the doctor today and found out that H1 has decided to flip around and is now breech. Yuck! That means that I will more than likely be having a c-section. Keep your fingers crossed she decided to try and kill me and break my ribs moving back around.

H1 is now 3lb 6oz and H2 is 3lb 8oz. They are so big now they can't take pictures on the ultrasound. They are so big and squished in my belly...it's crazy!
