The Chapstick Incident

Many of you might be asking yourself, "H2Mommy, what happens when the cat is playing with a tube of cherry lip balm and inadvertently jumps into the play yard with it while uncapped?" The answer, my dear friends, is this...

"We didn't do anything Mama! It was all Kit's fault."

The only thing I can say is thank goodness I found it in time and no carpet or clothing were harmed and at least they actually tried to put it on their lips! They're nice and chap free now. PJ was moments away from being a big pink mess. H2 had her sights on him and was walking a little to quickly towards him for my comfort. He was lucky!

Tropical Storm Fay and Tooth #5 For H2

H2 got her first lateral incisor during the storm on Saturday. This one came in fast. Little did I know because she wasn't fussy or more chewy than normal. She is starting to look like a little girl with all those "teefs" now.

The storm hit us this weekend. Me and the girls stayed at my Mom's house just in-case. She was a big help and I enjoyed spending the weekend with her. (It is a strange feeling being home in your old house but having your children with you!) I always feel like I can spend more quality time with the girls when I have someone else helping. I'm not just going through my daily motions and I actually have time to stop and play and watch and get hugs. Luckily this storm didn't bring a lot of thunder and lightening. H2 is deathly afraid of the sound of thunder and I was worried that she would be scared a lot this weekend. We received some water damage at our house from a leaky roof, my mom has one damages spot from the roof, and my Dad's house flooded a good bit. All in all we are lucky but even a little damage can seem terrible when it comes down to it. We are all in the process of cleaning up and getting things fixed now.

Butterfly Finally Got Tooth #4

Butterfly has officially gotten her fourth tooth. It erupted on Friday night and is moving in nice and fast. Ladybug is working on both another top and bottom tooth!

They are both so behind PJ in the tooth department it makes me giggle. It's truely is amazing how every child is so different when it comes to teething. Here's PJ with all these teeth and he's 6 months younger than the twins! Then we have our friend Sophia whose got an entire mouth full and she's onl 3 months older than the girls. But in the end it doesn't really matter. They'll all have a mouth full sooner or later.!

School House Rock

Every year since Aunt Tes started working at the school I go and help her get ready as best as I can. I really enjoy helping her our and spending some quality time together after what is usually a summer apart. This year was no exception. Instead of her coming to pick PJ up we went to her and hung out for just a little bit. It was hard because the girls wanted to get out of their stroller and run around. We found that laminated

This is a photo from the girls first time at school. It was one of the first outings I made alone with them and they were a month or two old at the time. It was much easier to help out back then because they just slept the entire time. We have a running joke..."Would you look at that they're already sleeping in school!"

Babies In A Basket

There is a basket that I have in the living room that holds the girls toys. They have gotten to the age where every toy is immediately pulled from said basket and scattered around the house. When Daddy came home last night they were dragging the empty basket around the living room and laughing hysterically. This is what happened next...

They went riding all around the living room with Daddy and loved it! They are such daredevils so the fast her went the happier they were.

Welcome Back PJ

It's been all summer but PJ is officially back and now he is all mine! Today was his first day and three of them. Now that the three of them are all mobile they all have a lot more fun together. They can run/crawl all around the living room and PJ is able to keep up now. They play with toys together, "talk" to each other and just have an absolute ball. They're gonna be pooped by the time bedtime rolls around everyday because they are all so active and just want to keep up! At nap time they all crashed and so did I.

Welcome Back Aunt Tes & PJ

Today we went over to visit Aunt Tes and PJ for a bit. They've been quite the travelers this summer and have really missed them. He is up and crawling around now and I know that it will make for a lot of fun this winter now that they are all mobile. It won't be long until all three of them will be running around the living room!
