Easter Baskets

The Easter bunny came to see the girls twice! They're so lucky. Once at Mommy's and once at Daddy's. As soon as they woke up Friday morning they ran straight to the living room and they had the craziest bed heads!

At Mommy's house they received an Easter Alvin & The Chipmunks movie, a little bit of candy, stickers and they each got a little Lala Loopsy doll. They really could care less about the chocolate candy but they attacked the Starbursts with ferver!

Once I get photos from their Easter at Daddy's I'll post them.

Getting Ready for the Easter Bunny

Since the girls will be with Daddy this weekend we are having our Easter festivities Friday. Today to prepare we painted Easter pictures and colored eggs. Tomorrow morning the Easter bunny will come to visit!

Big Swings

The short people have officially conquered the big swings! There's been a tumble or two but they've both kept right on it. We're still working on them using their legs to swing themselves but Hannah really seems to be picking up on it quickly.

Since we've moved into a place with very little yard (especially having a big dog at home too) we have been getting out more to our local parks. I never knew how many playgrounds we had nor how amazing they were! I can definitely say that we are lucky to live in this town with so many resources available to us.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

As lasses of Irish decent we celebrated St. Patrick's Day in style by going to watch our local Irish step dancers perform. The girls absolutely adored the dancing and they are already asking me to take lessons! I'll definitely be looking into that for them. Perhaps they can take a few classes and see if they are as into it as they already believe they are.

After the show we went to get some green frozen yogurt (vanilla with green sprinkles) and took it out to the park to enjoy the beautiful day. The entire time the girls both were jumping and jigging!
