31 Weeks Pregnant

So, I went to my regular OB appointment and my regular doc wasn't there so I saw another doctor in the practice and she was really nice. But unfortunately, sure enough, H1 is still breech. So it's looking better and better that I'll be having a c-section. I am not to fond of the idea but like I say "anything to make sure the girls are okay!"

Starting next week I have to go to my regular OB appointment once a week and go for a non-stress test also once a week an hour before the appointment. I'm going to be getting to know the people at the hospital really well!

I got my car seats that my cousin Stephanie and Grandmother got me for the baby shower. They are too cute and it just makes me feel that much more anxious about the girls being here so soon.

30 Weeks Pregnant

Went to the doctor today and found out that H1 has decided to flip around and is now breech. Yuck! That means that I will more than likely be having a c-section. Keep your fingers crossed she decided to try and kill me and break my ribs moving back around.

H1 is now 3lb 6oz and H2 is 3lb 8oz. They are so big now they can't take pictures on the ultrasound. They are so big and squished in my belly...it's crazy!

27 Weeks Pregnant

I went to both my regular doctor and the specialist this week. Everything is going great and each of my girls has gained a pound in the last month! They are officially 2lbs 6oz and 2lbs 7oz. Amazing how fast they grow.

I go and get my Rogam shot next week for my Rh incompatibility. I am not really looking forward to that but whatever it takes to make sure my girls are okay. Then, in 2 weeks I have another appointment with my regular OB to check up again. Busy Busy!

Started working on our honeymoon scrapbook tonight. I got two pages completed and the third is close. Only millions more (it seems) to go.

This weekend is going to be all about getting the nursery cleaned out and painted so wish me luck!

Heads Together...Both Head Down!!!

26 Weeks Pregnant

So, here I am officially at 26 weeks. The past two weeks have gone by pretty fast and the babies have grown at what seems like break-neck speeds. It's amazing to feel them week to week. The difference in their kicks are amazing. Before they were just little bumps, now, it feels like someone is pushing a pork rib bone across my stomach from the inside out. That's really the best way I can describe it at this point. But there are 4 rib bones pushing and moving at one time. I can honestly say that I have some very busy little girls. They are constantly moving and grooving!

Our A/C ran out of coolant and it's been H-O-T in the house this past week. Not to mention that I am super hot from being pregnant on top of it all. Our "handyman" is going to be coming this afternoon to refill us. I am very happy about that. No more 80 degree weather indoors. Woo-Hoo!

Did I mention that we finally got our sectional?!? I love it and am so happy it's finally here. I'm such a hormonal basket case I started crying when we first put it in because I started imagining the girls pulling up on it and using it to learn to walk. Yes, I know, "But H2Mommy, they aren't even born yet!"

Another 24 Week Update

I went to my regular OB appointment today and got my test results back from the blood work I did on Monday. My gestational diabetes test came back negative (YEAH!) but my anemia/blood iron test came back very, very low. This really makes sense and I thought this would probably happen. With twins they like to drain you of your iron much more than just one baby and I was slightly anemic to begin with even before becoming pregnant. I now have to take an iron supplement everyday along with my other vitamins. The iron pills are huge! I thought the prenatals were large...they got nothing on these bad boys. But, as I've said before...whatever it takes to make sure the girls are healthy and I'm healthy for them. Whatever tests they wanna do, if it'll help the girls, I am all for it.

At my next appointment (28 weeks) I have to get a shot because I the girls and I am Rh incompatible. This really isn't going to be a big problem. My Mother and I were incompatible and everything went well.

We are supposed to be able to pick up our sofa today. I am going to call and confirm that it's there and let them know what time R will be coming to get it. Hopefully everything goes well this time. It'll be nice to actually have have my living room look normal. Right now it's just a big 'ol mess.
