This morning at about 9:37am Ms. H2 finally gave me her first crawl. She was trying to get a board book at Stephanie's house right after she had eaten her morning bottle. She was TOO funny. It was only a little army crawl but she actually went forward this time!
I am gonna have my hands full here shortly! *sheesh*

Trip
The girls and I are following my cousins back down to south Florida for the week. We'll be leaving in the morning and will be home next weekend.
I got their new car seats in the car and ready to boogie. Now all I need to do it pack everything up into the car! It'll be a tight squeeze but I think I can make it all work. The biggest hurdle is making sure not to pack to much on top of the stroller because I will be needing to pull it out when we stop for lunch and potty breaks.
Wish us luck!

What's A Mommy To Do?
*I've tried posting two seperate entries but neither has gone through. Ick!
My memory card in my camera is officially full. I can't bring myself to delete everything on it and start over. I have another one somewhere. The question is, where exactly!?! I upload all my photos online just in case anything ever happens to the camera or my computer but it still scares me to delete them from their original source. *shrugs* That's the reasoning for my lack of photos lately.
My Aunt Lissa, cousin Stephanie, and her two youngest children Brady (2) and Layci (8 months) came up to visit. They all got here Saturday evening. Aunt Lissa left on Tuesday (via plane) to be with my Uncle for some appointments but Steph and the kids will be here for the entire week! I just love having them around. It is so much fun to see her kids as they grow and now to see them with my girls and how they all interact. It is really funny to see us three girls (Stephanie, Tes, and myself) going out to eat with the kids. People stop and stare! We seem to be a fertile bunch. Tes and PJ, Steph, Brady & Layci and then me and my girls! We are definitely outnumbered by highchairs! ::hehe:: Just imagine if Stephanie's other two were with us as well.
The girls sat in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time the other day. They did a really good job. I, of course, was a neurotic mess...but what's new? I guess it's natural for a first time mother to be a worry wort, much less when she's got two at one time to worry over. They have also tried some baby food meats as well. They really liked it. They aren't to fond of the really runny baby foods so we've stepped up to adding some stage threes in for them. And they are also getting the hang of the puffs now. They've even tried a Cheerio or two this week!

Lunch with Aunt Brenda
We had a fun day today!
We went to our weekly music class this morning. Unfortunately, we got there a bit late. As soon as I got the girls in their car seats and all buckled up they both decided to give me a surprise in their diapers. So we got out, changed diapers, and then proceeded to try again. We finally got there but the girls were in a rather odd mood. They cheered up quickly and had a blast. We only got to do a few songs but they enjoyed it none the less.
We met my Aunt Brenda in town for lunch. She brought the girls their Christmas presents (better late than never). We hadn't been able to get to her to pick them up so this was the next best step. She got the girls some super cute sleepers with hearts that say "Sweetheart" on the bottom of the feet. She also got them a book. My cousin Tammy (her oldest daughter) also got them a book for Christmas. I am happy to get the books because the girls both love to read. We have reading time every afternoon. It was great getting together with her.

Sitting Up and Crawling!
I was finally able to get photos of both girls sitting up at the same time. It was only for a minute but I got one...soon after they both went trying to crawl/reach out for their toys. For some reason today every photo of H2 she looks like she is either extremely mad or very sleepy. She is so funny!
The girls have been working on drinking their bottles with the handles attached. They are still not completely keen on the idea but they are getting the hang of it. It's precious to see them trying so hard to do it all by themselves.
The girls also tried their first solid today. I got them me of the Gerber Graduate Puffs in the apple strawberry flavor. They absolutely loved them. H2's hand-eye coordination is just a bit better than H1's so she was able to grab them and put them to her mouth easier. Regardless, they both like them. It's funny to think of them eating "real" food. They don't seem big enough for all that yet.
H1 missed her mouth and the puff stuck to the edge of her nose. She thought it was very funny. She started laughing hysterically.
Although H2 loved her puffs and was able to get all of them actually in her mouth she decided to be a sourpuss whenever I tried to take a photo of her eating. She has one in her left hand. She was trying to hide it from me.
This is a video of H1 crawling across the living room to get to the container of puffs.

Just Playin'
Today we had a very good day. We played all morning and then met Aunt Tes and PJ in town. We went to eat some lunch...well, we went to watch Mommy and Aunt Tes eat and then we all went to ToysRUs. We found some fun things. We got some balls to chase after on the floor, some new bottles with handles, and some yummy big girl food.

17 1/2 Inches For Locks of Love
I know this post has absolutely nothing to do with the girls but it's pretty big news for me. After looking at the Locks Of Love website I decided that I wanted to help. There are so many young girls out there who can not grow their own hair and here I am with super long hair that just gets on my nerves a lot. I got my Father-in-law to cut my hair the other night. 17 1/2 inches! I love my new hair and I love how I was able to help.

7 Months Old!
We have officially made it for 7 months. We have crossed so many milestones and grown so very much. From a little over 6 lbs to nearly 20 lbs, from milk only to real pureed food, just laying all day and not really moving to being extremely loud and trying to crawl and rolling all over the house. I never thought that it would come so quickly. They are just amazing little people and I can see their personalities growing every day as they watch and learn about the world around them.

Missing Information, Milestones, Photos, and Playdates!
H1
I apologize for how odd the site has been lately. I've been trying to update a few things but it hasn't worked out the way that I wanted it to. I am trying to revert everything back to normal but a few things (as you can probably tell) have been deleted and I haven't quite gotten to them yet. All of the links to other twins websites had been deleted and I don't have any idea where to find them again.
The girls have just started to sit up by themselves. I have to put them into sitting position but they can now stay there all on their own! It is so amazing to see how quickly they can go from not being able to do something to the very next day seeming so skilled. I haven't gotten a photo of Hailey quite yet but I will as soon as I can.
The other day me and the girls met Liz & Sophia, Lauren & Asher for a playdate. They all had so much fun. We were there for nearly two hours and all the kids just rolled around, munching on toys, and playing. We are planning on trying to get together more often. It was nice to have some adult conversation while still being able to be completely baby-centric.
